Neural Notes

The video opens with a visual representation inspired by a biological neural network. Branching structures, reminiscent of synapses and dendrites, evoke the transmission of electrical impulses in the brain. Through the movement and transformation of the original image, the work explores the parallel between neuronal activity and sound production: signals traveling along the connections are interpreted as notes, rhythms, and dynamic variations.

Beyond the scientific aspect, ‘Neural Notes’ exists in a conceptual space where thought is understood as a web of relationships—a system in continuous reorganization. The neural network becomes a powerful metaphor for the invisible bonds that structure perception, memory, and collective experience. From this perspective, the work questions the possibility of translating the complexity of cognitive processes into aesthetic forms that simultaneously engage both vision and sound.
