Fluid Colors
Fluid Colors is built on collision. Yellow pushes in from one side, blue from the other, red cutting through the middle — thick, wet, glossy paint that never quite mixes, even where the colours meet. Violet shows up mostly at the seams, the place where two currents touch and neither one wins. Fine spatters of colour hang in the black around them, like the moment right after impact.
Where Resonances moves like something rippling outward, this one feels more like pressure, colour pushed until it has nowhere left to go but into itself, folding and buckling under its own weight. There’s a density to it, almost architectural, even though nothing here holds still for more than a second.
That’s the fluid part, really, not gentle movement but colour behaving like a liquid under force, finding the shape of whatever’s pushing against it and changing again a moment later.
Fluid Colors (2025) is a 2:10 AI-assisted video by Giorgio Gerardi with an original soundtrack, part of the Colors and Shapes series.
